Area Parks

City of Penticton Meeting Rooms

The City of Penticton has a number of meeting rooms available to host general meetings, birthday parties, and social clubs or gatherings. To book any of these meeting rooms contact our Recreation Coordinator at 250-490-2430.

  • Community Centre - Meeting Rooms #2 and #3
    Size is 21' x 24' with a maximum occupancy of 50. Includes a tile floor, sink, tables, and chairs. TV, VCR, Projector, flip charts, and podium are available for rent.
  • Community Centre - Rec Room
    Size is 16' x 38' with a maximum occupancy of 30. Includes a tile floor, tables, and chairs. TV, VCR, Projector, flip charts, and podium are available for rent.
  • Library / Museum Auditorium
    Size is 34' x 40' with a maximum occupancy of 116. Includes a tile floor, small stage, kitchen with sink (no appliances), tables, and chairs. Upright and grand pianos are available for rent.
  • McLaren Park Arena Meeting Room
    Size is 15' x 23' with a maximum occupancy of 30. Includes a tile floor, tables, and chairs. This is a great space for birthday parties!

Community Centre Dance Studio

Located at 325 Power Street, the Community Centre Dance Studio is available for rentals such as birthday parties, fitness and dance programs, and so on. The activity space is approximately 40' x 40' and has hardwood floor, mirrored walls, ballet barres, sound system, and a piano. Contact 250-490-2430 to book.

Community Centre Gymnasium

Located at 325 Power Street, the Community Centre Gym is available for rentals such as birthday parties, fitness and dance programs, and so on. The activity space is approximately 80' x 120' and has hardwood floor, six badminton courts, two volleyball courts, one full-size basketball court, indoor soccer, gymnastics, and sound system. Contact 250-490-2430 to book.

School District # 67 Gymnasiums

School District # 67 gymnasiums are available for community use from September to June. For elementary school gymnasium bookings that are between Monday - Friday, from 6:00pm - 10:00pm, contact the City of Penticton at 250-490-2430. For all other school gymnasiums and for weekend rentals, contact the School District at 250-770-7700. For more information on School District facility rentals, click here.

McLaren Arena

Located at 1350 King Street, the McLaren Arena is available for rentals. The rink size is 180' x 80' and includes access to score clock, skate shop, and goal nets. Bleacher seating capacity is 250. Contact 250-490-2437 for booking information, or fill out the appropriate booking request form and email rentals@penticton.ca.

Cleland Theatre

Located at 325 Power Street, the Cleland Theatre is AVAILABLE FOR RENTALS and includes computerized lighting, professional sound system, orchestra pit, four dressing rooms, and stage level load-in facilities. The theatre seats 443 and you can view the theatre seating chart [PDF - 180 KB].

Note that if your program is using music, either live or recorded, you will be required to pay SOCAN fees as it is Federal Copyright Law.

Community Centre Pool

Located at 325 Power Street, the Community Centre's leisure and lap pools are available for rental. For information on swimming pool rentals, contact our Aquatic Coordinator at 250-490-2434 or email kerry.maguire@penticton.ca.
