The Public Works Department is a branch of the Operations Division of the City of Penticton. The Public Works Department includes the following 3 sub-departments:

These 3 departments provide quality services to the community in areas such as seasonal road, sidewalk and trail maintenance, solid waste and recycle collection, transit services, domestic and agricultural irrigation water distribution, sanitary and storm sewer collection services, development and maintenance of community gardens, parks and beaches. In addition to the community services, our Fleet Maintenance Department provides internal equipment procurement and maintenance services on City owned equipment as well as the RCMP Fleet, the Fire Department Fleet and the RDOS Fleet.
