Mobile food vendors who wish to conduct business in Penticton must have their vehicles inspected by the Penticton Fire Department every year.Â
Annual Inspections
Contact us to book your inspection appointment. We will review your equipment, service reports, and documentation. Once approved, the Fire Department will fix a decal to the vehicle and the operator will be added to a list of mobile vendors approved to operate within the City for that year.Â

Free Inspections - 2 Days Only
The Penticton Fire Department will be offering FREE inspections for two days only, on April 16 & 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., by appointment, at the South Okanagan Events Centre in the south parking Lot. Call 250-490-2300 or email fire@penticton.ca to book your appointment. Please note that all servicing of life safety equipment must be completed before the date of your scheduled inspection. All applicable gas and electrical certifications must be present at the time of inspection.Â
