Permits for the installation and removal of Underground and Stationary Storage Tanks are available from the Penticton Fire Department.
A Permit is issued under Bylaw #2004-57 Section 5.04. Work must be done in full accordance with the regulations of the National Fire Code of Canada and to the satisfaction of the Local Assistant to the Fire Commissioner.
A current plot plan showing the location of all flammable liquid tanks and pumps in relation to buildings and property lines must accompany the permit.
