Love Local: Neighbourhood Brewing

Welcome to the Neighbourhood: Penticton now home to 7 craft breweries

Tag(s): Living Here, Love Local

Let’s make a toast to the 7th craft brewery to open in Penticton – Neighbourhood Brewing. The brewery is now serving customers at their fabulous new facility in the Westminster corridor. And we know you’re feeling thirsty.

This latest opening further cements our city’s badge of honour for being named Canada’s Craft Beer Capital (so says travel guide powerhouse Lonely Planet). Let’s just say we have reason to celebrate our Penticton Ale Trail.

“On behalf of Penticton's craft beer community, we are incredibly excited to welcome Neighbourhood Brewing to our neighbourhood,” said Kim Lawton, who manages the Penticton Ale Trail. “We work together as Penticton's seven craft breweries and the Penticton Ale Trail to showcase our exciting and dynamic craft beer scene. Now there's another reason to discover Canada's Craft Beer Capital, with Neighbourhood Brewing as a must-see destination."

What to Expect

Neighbourhood Brewing

Neighbourhood Brewing has a tasting room and kitchen with a Mexican-inspired menu with tacos, burritos and salsa. The 10,000-square-foot building is spread out over two floors, with a 150-person patio featuring a big outdoor fireplace. They also have 30 taps including Neighbourhood’s beers, beer from their sister brewery Yellow Dog, guest taps, local cider and wine.

Read their COVID-19 Safety Plan for information about how they’re serving customers and what to expect inside.
