A CBC reporter has ranked Penticton’s pin as 12th best among all British Columbia’s 162 municipalities.
Justin McElroy, a municipal affairs reporter, held viewers on his Twitter feed for hours on BC Day as he revealed the results of his year-long effort to collect each municipality’s pin.
“Over the last year, I've collected pins from all 162 municipalities in this wonderful province. And now, we're going to rank all of them,” he wrote. “Sometimes I had multiple pins for a municipality; I picked the one I liked most; there may be a ‘better’ or ‘more recent’ pin, this not a definitive exercise.”
