Feb. 27, 2025: Work is now underway within Duncan Avenue Reservoir.
- Walking in the area? Avoid fenced-off areas within the greenspace, for your safety. Note the stairs and path between Ridgedale Avenue and Debeck Road will remain open to the public.
- Drivers: Watch for traffic detours on Penticton Avenue at Kensington Street starting Monday, March 3. Anyone passing through this area is reminded to slow down, watch for signage and follow the direction of flaggers.

Construction Timeline
This work will impact residents living in the area surrounding the Duncan Avenue Reservoir greenspace. It will require major excavation along a section of Kensington Avenue, between Penticton Avenue and Edgewood Drive. In addition, most the trails within the greenspace between Edgewood Drive and Duncan Avenue / Ridgedale Avenue will be closed during construction. The stairs and path between Ridgedale Avenue and Debeck Road will remain open to the public.
