Lakawanna Playground - 796 Lakeshore Drive West
Adventure playground ages 5-12, swingset, splashpad (May-Sept), washrooms, seasonal concession, lawn, picnic tables, parking.
Located across from Okanagan Beach, Lakawanna playground was constructed in 2002 through the efforts and support of the Miracle Fund, Penticton Rotary Club and the City of Penticton. Recently the playground surfacing was upgraded to engineered wood fibre, which meets accessibility standards.
Also enjoy the small splashpad which operates 10am-8pm daily from the May long weekend until late September.
