Take Mom to the beloved Penticton Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning, open from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the 100-block of Main Street. Stroll the vendors and let her pick out something special. Follow a morning at the market with a nice sit-down lunch at one of the dozens of surrounding restaurants.

Rooftop yoga, brunch and mimosas

Peach City Runners Blossom 8 Miler and kids’ 1.5 km Fun Run takes place Mother’s Day, May 12, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Okanagan Lake Park. Start with a lap around the park and then through the scenic KVR trail and back to the park. Check out Penticton Pounders Running Club website to register.

Make this Mother’s Day unforgettable with some thrills and excitement for the whole family at the Penticton Speedway for the Malicious Monster Truck show on May 12 at 2 p.m.

Create plant art
Create with Mom or for Mom on Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sahara Garden Art on Martin Street. You can create a lady face (selfie) container or a container of your choice. Then pick your plants whether it be succulent, tropical or cactus. All the supplies are included to complete a unique arrangement.
Say "cheese" with a family photo shoot
Penticton musician and artist Ari Neufeld is pairing up with Poplar Grove Cheese to offer photos amongst the vines while enjoying charcuterie, craft mocktails and cheese from cheese makers Jen and Jen on May 12 between noon and 4 p.m. A 15-minute photo shoot is $35.
